I am a writer who has education and experience in both journalism and technical writing. This means that I am versatile and enjoy writing articles and features, web and marketing content and blogs as well as more traditional technical writing such as procedures, policies, reports, proposals, technical requirements, training materials, (including eLearning) and white papers.
I am a lifelong learner who enjoys learning and writing about a wide range of topics. I have had a varied career, including work in the for-profit and non-profit sectors in the US and abroad. I am culturally sensitive and work well with teams in various locations. The main thread, besides writing, that ties all of my work together is helping people. As a writer, I have made it my mission to focus on the user or the audience – to make it easy for whoever is reading to achieve their goals as simply as possible. I have a soft spot for technology, and enjoy translating technical language into simple, easy-to-follow words for anyone to understand, including:
